Now Accepting Applications for the
2026 MARY LEE FITZ STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Since 1997, the Warren Concert Band has offered scholarships to qualified middle and high school
musicians. Our goals are to encourage long term involvement in performance of band music and to make students aware of the opportunity to continue performance after high school with a community group, such as the Warren Concert Band.
The award of scholarship money is based upon the completion of the application and
recommendation forms as well as a competitive audition in April of each year. Through this program,
we can award scholarships to deserving students in the Warren and surrounding areas.
Scholarship applicants must currently be in the seventh through eleventh grade and must be current
members of their school band program. The guidelines for middle school students are different than
those for high school students. Please find the guidelines, application form, and all
reference sheets necessary for completing the application below.
All Application forms are due by Friday, April 3, 2026. All applicants with complete applications will be contacted regarding being scheduled for an audition time on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the music wing of Warren Lincoln High School, 22900 Federal Warren, MI 48089.
